Year round, a vehicle must display a valid permit to park on campus excluding weekends, when the university is closed, or designated by special signage. Weekdays (Monday – Friday) a permit is required in all lots or as posted. Resident lots are restricted 24 hours.

How does NAU parking work?

A university parking permit or paid short-term parking is required to park on campus. Short-term parking options may be found on our visitor parking page. All parking options accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. An additional short-term parking option includes the “15 Minute Parking, No Permit Required” stalls.

Free game day parking will be available in lot 62. Parking also is available in the San Francisco Parking Garage for $10. Free shuttle service from the lot and garage will begin three hours prior to each home game and will end one hour after the game ends.

Does NAU have coed dorms?

Cowden is a coed traditional-style campus living community housing primarily freshmen and sophomores. Cowden residents enjoy its two interior courtyards, the Mad Cow lounge and their location next to the Union.
