Method 1.
Go to Settings and look for the option named Location and ensure that your location services are ON. Now the first option under Location should be Mode, tap on it and set it to High accuracy. This uses your GPS as well as your Wi-Fi and mobile networks to estimate your location.
Why is my phone saying I’m in a different location?
Most apps that use your location ask if they can have access to Location Services the first time you open them. This may be why your iPhone is showing the wrong location. You can give an app permission to use your Location Services even after you say no. Open Settings and tap Privacy -> Location Services.
GPS: Maps uses satellites to know your location up to around 20 meters. When you’re inside buildings or underground, the GPS is sometimes inaccurate. Wi-Fi: The location of nearby Wi-Fi networks helps Maps know where you are. Cell tower: Your connection to mobile data can be accurate up to a few thousand meters.
Why my phone location is wrong?
Location issues are often caused by a weak GPS signal. If you can’t see the sky, you’ll have a weak GPS signal and your position on the map might not be correct. Navigate to Settings > Location > and make sure Location is ON. Navigate to Settings > Loction > Sources Mode and tap High Accuracy.
If you can’t find your current location on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services and make sure that Location Services is on and that Maps is set to While Using the App or Widgets. Make sure that you set the date, time, and time zone correctly on your device.
