Modern air conditioners, such as Lennox models, can last between 15 to 20 years. However, you’ll find older models’ life expectancy slightly shorter, between 10-12 years. Nevertheless, appropriate usage and ongoing maintenance can extend the life of your Lennox air conditioning unit.

Where is the Lennox part number?
The model is identified by a “model number” which is stamped on the unit nameplate or rating plate. On residential gas and oil furnaces this identification plate is located on the inside of cabinet near the vestibule panel. On other Lennox products the plate is mounted on the outside of unit.
