What is the qualification for ATC?

According to the prescribed eligibility criteria for Air Traffic Control, the applicant must have an academic background in the field of Engineering. They must have received at least 60% on their qualifying examination for a bachelor’s or master’s degree.

How do I get ATC clearance?

An ATC clearance must be obtained prior to operating within a Class B, Class C, Class D, or Class E surface area when the weather is less than that required for VFR flight. When a control tower is located within the Class B, Class C, or Class D surface area, requests for clearances should be to the tower.
