Keep in mind that the Walabot DIY works with most phones operating Android 7.0 or above and must have USB OTG (On-the-Go) support. However, the Walabot DIY is not compatible with iPhones or iOS-based computers and tablets. On some phones, it is necessary to manually enable the USB OTG feature.
Will Walabot DIY 2 work without WiFi?
Answer: The Walabot DIY will need to connect to the internet via data or WiFi to download or update the app. However, for regular usage, it does not require an internet/phone connection and can be used on a phone without phone service.

Does Walabot work on insulated walls?
All Walabot DIY devices see through insulation to identify studs, pipes, and wires. They do not detect the presence or absence of insulation.
