Do Kik messages disappear over time?

Kik deletes old messages automatically. It doesn’t save all your chat history and will automatically delete the old messages once you have exceeded the maximum number of messages you can save on Kik. On Kik for iPhone, you can see only the last 1000 messages in the recent chats.

Can you see old Kik conversations?

Kik doesn’t store conversations on their servers, so it’s not possible to restore messages directly from the application. However, using your backups you can get your info back. Depending on your backup, there are the 2 options to retrieve Kik messages: iCloud and iTunes.

Logging out of the Kik app will erase all of your messages. There is no way around this, so you’ll need to save any important messages first.
