Yes, but I’m sure it isn’t recommended. I once put a 7&1/4” plywood blade on a cheap poulan straight shaft trimmer. It worked great on brush but eventually the cable snapped inside the shaft.

Are TrimmerPlus and expand-it compatible?

Are TrimmerPlus attachments compatible with Husqvarna?
Answer: I have the same question after 6 weeks of waiting for my edger ECA850 attachment to come in. Both the Trimmer plus attachment and my Husqvarna 128ld have male attachment lugs at the connection point. Unfortunately they don’t connect.
Does TrimmerPlus work with GreenWorks?
