The 2021 ACL Festival lineup is officially here. The annual Austin festival is making a return after cancelling last year’s festivities due to the coronavirus pandemic. Having to go virtual in 2020, this year they’ll be celebrating their 20th anniversary at Zilker Park.
Is ACL weekend 1 or 2 better?
The only big difference between weekends are the artists. On the lineup, it’ll signify whether an artist is only playing weekend one or two. If it doesn’t say “Weekend One” or “Weekend Two” then that artist is playing both weekends. Weekend one tends to sell out quicker than weekend two.
What should I wear to ACL?
Generally festivalgoers are comfortable in standard summer clothes, e.g. sleeveless shirts, dresses, and shorts. It’s a good idea to wear something light and breathable so you won’t get overwhelmed during the heat of the day, but you might want to bring a jacket or sweater for the nighttime sets.
How do you get into ACL?
ACL is running a shuttle bus from downtown Austin to Zilker Park. The pickup point is near Republic Square Park at the U.S. Courthouse on West Fourth Street near San Antonio Street. Shuttles start at noon on Fridays and 11 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
Does ACL sell single day tickets?
Fans can purchase an ACL 3-day wristband, or buy single day wristbands for Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Single day or three-day passes are available for both Weekend One and Weekend Two of the festival.

What should I wear to ACL 2021?
Your shortest shorts and crop-est tops will be more than welcome among fest-goers. If those aren’t your thing, mesh clothes, bandanas-as-shirts, wide-legged linen pants and buttoned tops (which you can make breathable by only doing one button, or none) are all cute options that will keep you cool.
