Google looks up your device’s IP address in their database to determine your approximate location and redirects your Google Search to the appropriate local country service. For a variety of reasons, using IP addresses to determine location is not 100% accurate.
Why is my Google search in another country?
When you search on Google, your results are customized to your current region. You can choose to see results for other countries from your computer and the Google app for Android. Visit the Search settings page. Under Region Settings, choose a region.

Change your Google Play country

Any search from that Google Search homepage, or subsequent results pages, will default to UK results. Google’s results default to global. If you specifically want to see only UK results, search using google.co.uk with region set to United Kingdom and use the country filter to limit results to the UK.
