Does Rogers own Fido?
Although Fido is owned by Rogers, its is a seperate entity of the business. For Rogers to keep its claim as having the fastest LTE speed, it has to keep Fido’s at a lower speed than its own.

Can Fido reduce my bill?
If you wish to lower your bill, you still need to pay-off the full amount of your phone. That can either be done by paying the downgrade fee (amount remaining on your phone) or switch to a plan which contains the same amount of subsidy towards your phone.
How do I cancel my Fido plan?
Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to cancel a plan and keep your phone number at the same time. Once you cancel a plan, you will lose your phone number (unless the number is ported elsewhere before cancellation). Fido does offer a temporary suspension, however, certain stipulations would apply.
Is Fido better than Telus?

Will 5G replace WIFI?
Easy answer, No! For the last 10 years, every improvement in carrier wireless technologies was proffered as a potential technology to replace Wi-Fi and the answer was always the same, not yet. We saw it with mobile WiMAX, 3G, and 4G, it will be the same answer for 5G.
