Most epoxy paint products will need a 1:1 mixing ratio of resin and hardener, which means, if you want to make your epoxy food-safe, you will need to use exactly same amount of resin and hardener. The food-safe resin is heat resistant, has zero VOC, UV protected, doesn’t yellowing and dries crystal clear.
Is epoxy safe near food?
We do not have FDA approval certifying direct, long-term contact with food. However once epoxy is fully cured for 30 days, it is an inert plastic and should be fine for incidental exposure to food. It is not antimicrobial. Epoxy is not safe to ingest (liquid or cured).

Not only did it turn my project yellow but also even with the heat gun there were bubbles throughout the WHOLE THING. Complete waste of money, do not recommend!
