Are chainsaw mills worth it?
As long as your bar will reach across the log then you can cut it into lumber. A chainsaw mill is a great machine for cutting wide slabs out of large trees. If you’re planning, for example, to build tables that have a single slab top, this could be the saw for you.
How an Alaskan mill works?

Be careful using the mini mill down in front of your leg because if the chain breaks you`ll be chain whipped if your bar isn`t buried in the log. Wear eye protection along with the face shield. Make sure the logs are secure before milling them.
