Google’s New Logo is Based Upon Their Custom Font, Product Sans.
How do I identify a font?
The most graceful way to identify a font in the wild is with the free WhatTheFont Mobile app. Just launch the app and then snap a photo of the text wherever it appears—on paper, signage, walls, a book, and so on. The app prompts you to crop the photo to the text and then identify each character.
What font is on this website?
Open your browser inspector. In Chrome or Firefox, you can do this by right-clicking and choosing “Inspect.” Ctrl+Shift+I (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+I (Mac) should also work. Navigate to the element whose font you’re curious about.
If you are using Google Chrome, right click on the mystery text, select Inspect. DevTools pops up, make sure you are on the Styles tab and head to the Font-Family attributes to learn more about the fonts. If you are using Firefox, right click the text, select Inspect Element.
