The Ringback Tones service has been discontinued and is no longer supported by Verizon.

Ringback tones were incredibly trendy in the early and mid-2000’s, but have since tapered off nearly to oblivion. Though almost nobody is buying ringbacks anymore, plenty of people still have them from back in the day.

Effective October 31, 2020, Verizon will be discontinuing Ringback Tones and Playlists. Your existing subscription(s) and any Ringback Tone(s) you purchased from the Media Store will be automatically removed from all lines on your account, and you will no longer be charged a subscription fee for this feature.

Go to the Main Menu of your phone. Tap Content or Fun Tab. Choose Ringback Tones/ Call Tones.

One of the easiest ways to get ringtones on an Android phone is to download the Verizon Tones app from the Google Play™ store. From the app, you can purchase and download from a broad selection of great ringtones.
