Sealing the Grout
Since Polyblend grout is cement-based, it’s a good idea to seal it after it cures. Cement grout is porous, which means water and grease can soak into it and stain or damage the grout. Wait at least 48 to 72 hours after grouting to apply the sealer.

Why you should not seal grout?
Grout is porous and therefore absorbs liquids. Because of this, the reason you should not seal your tile grout is that the sealer’s liquid chemicals combine with the grout to create a surface that is actually much more difficult to clean.
Is Polyblend epoxy grout?

As a cement-based mix, polyblend grout is easier to work with than epoxy grout, and because the recommended additives are already in the mix, you don’t have to add liquid latex modifiers when mixing the grout, as you do with traditional grout formulations.

Is unsanded grout easier to clean?
This means that your tile and grout will look better for a longer time than with non-sanded grout in bigger grout joints. As a result of this type of grout being a coarser texture, it is harder to clean and to force into smaller grout lines.

Can be subjected to intermittent water exposure after 3 days. For submerged applications, allow grout to cure for 14 days before filling the area with water. Exterior applications must be protected from rain, snow and other wet conditions for at least 7 days with temperature above 50° F (10° C).
How long does it take Polyblend grout to dry?
Tile or stone must be firmly bonded to a sound substrate, and setting material must be cured a minimum 24-48 hours before cement grout is applied, unless rapid-setting mortars are used.
