A Houston jury sentenced rap musician Carlos Coy, professionally known as South Park Mexican, to 45 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl.

Who accused SPM?

The mother, who was the first witness to take the stand in Coy’s trial, said her then-9-year-old daughter had gone to the rapper’s house in southeast Houston on Sept. 1 to spend the night with his daughter. The next day, the daughter said Coy had touched her inappropriately, the mother testified.
