To tame one easy all you have to do is kill something so the argent Avis can eat, and while it’s healing you must knock it out with tranq arrows or darts. If it is knocked out while healing it’ll starve immediately and it’ll tame in seconds no matter what level!

While the Argentavis can be used to transport tribemates and tames, they can also be used to snatch up to two enemies and even their tames. Argentavis can attack creatures they have snatched and can eventually kill them or simply drop them to their death.

1-2 Tranq darts knock them straight out for me. So i would say upto 12 for a low lvl argy and upto 35 for a high level using arrows from a crossbow. 50+ for a lvl 120 using arrows on a bow. Darts are best.

A bird can realistically lift 25% of his weight. Assuming a 200 lbs bird can fly, a 50 lbs kid would be able to ride it but not an adult. Keeping a tamed animal tamed is usually not difficult as long as you feed them and behave decently with them.
