Is SoundScan free?
At the time of this FAQ’s publication, SoundScan registration is still free of charge. Please note, that BEFORE registering with SoundScan, you must obtain your ISRC and UPC Codes. Only after you have your codes purchased, can you start the registration of your album, audio tracks, and videos.
How do I register my music with BDS?
Please send an email with “Virtual Encode” as the subject to our Client Services Department at for a username and password. You will then receive login information and instructions via email for the Virtual Encode website to upload your music.
