How do I connect my Blink camera to WIFI?
When the lights match a blinking blue and solid green pattern, then press Discover Device and you are asked to join the Sync Module Wi-Fi network. Tap Join, and then select your Wi-Fi network from the available choices. Carefully enter your Wi-Fi password and tap Join on your keyboard.
Do Blink cameras have to be connected to WIFI?
Blink cameras can’t operate offline and require a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi Internet connection. One important reason is because cameras use Wi-Fi to send images and notifications. Blink systems minimally require a high speed connection of at least 2 Mbps upload speed.
Can I connect my Blink camera to my phone?
Blink apps require devices to have a current version of iOS, Android, or Fire OS.
Can I log into my Blink account on my computer?
Blink do not currently have an official way to view their cameras on a computer, however there are many different android emulators like Bluestacks or NOX that will allow you to do this.
Can’t connect to Blink Wi-Fi?
Restart your device, or try switching the Wi-Fi setting off and on again to establish a connection. Make sure your mobile device is within range of your router or access point. Check that your router and any access points are powered on. Restarting your Wi-Fi router may also resolve this issue.
Does Blink camera connect to Wi-Fi or sync module?
Blink’s original Indoor, XT, and XT2 cameras will only connect to the same Wi-Fi SSID that the Sync Module is connected to. To set up these cameras with an extender, be sure to rename the Wi-Fi extender SSID to be the same the main Wi-Fi network, and use the same password.
Can I use my Blink camera without sync module?
Blink cameras cannot function without an active WiFi connection or an online Sync Module. If internet connectivity is lost or if the Sync Module is powered off, the system will go offline until it both are restored.
How far can Blink camera be from router?
Assuming standard construction techniques (single building, no unusually dense construction materials) the Sync Module should be able to communicate with Blink cameras up to (and perhaps over) 100′ away in any direction. We also recommend keeping the Sync Module near your wireless router for best signal strength.
What happens if I unplug Blink camera?
The system will only update itself when the Wi-Fi connection is steady, and the power supply is stable. When the device is shut off via a disconnection of either of these, a reset may be needed to ensure proper update schedules are continued.

Do Blink cameras work through Windows?
The Blink cameras cannot be used to face out a window. Blink’s PIR sensor cannot detect motion through glass, so a Blink indoor or Blink XT/XT2 camera positioned behind a window will not create clips when armed. However, it can be faced out a window, or through glass, for use with Live View.
Can you view all Blink cameras at once?
You cannot access the live view from more than one camera at a time, you would have to go to each camera individually within the APP to access the live view.
