Stewart’s Bluing is a brand of liquid bluing agent used for whitening fabrics. It is primarily a colloid of the blue pigment “Prussian blue” and water.
How do you use Mrs Stewart’s bluing?

What is in Mrs Stewarts bluing agent?
The ingredients in MSB consist of water, a blue iron powder (a pigment), and a very, very small amount of an organic biocide / pH balancer that is added as a preservative and to keep algae from growing in our tanks and in the bottle. It is safe for you to handle when doing laundry.

Can you soak clothes in Mrs Stewart’s bluing?
An easy way to use bluing is to measure the bluing into an old empty 2 quart or gallon pitcher or container and fill with cold water. Then it can be poured into the machine with clothes present, in either the wash or rinse cycle. We do not recommend that bluing be used in conjunction with bleach and/or fabric softener.

How do you get yellow clothes white again?
