How long do you spend at the Aquarium of the Pacific?

Enjoy a 2 to 2.5 hour voyage out in the open Pacific in ocean in search for one of the world’s longest migrating mammals. See the downtown shoreline, ocean vistas, ships from around the world, and even sea lions in this 45-minute tour of one of the most active ports in the world.

Do you have to make reservations for the Aquarium of the Pacific?

Reservations are required for Saturday, Sunday, all holidays, and special events; reservations are strongly recommended for Monday through Friday. Please plan ahead and review our safety protocols before your next visit.

Can you take snacks into the Aquarium of the Pacific?

A: The Aquarium does not allow any outside food within the Aquarium. However, we do have picnic tables located on the plaza on a first come, first serve basis. Any snacks, lunches or edible items may be consumed in this area.

Is the Aquarium of the Pacific free with EBT card?

If the Golden State Advantage Card (EBT Card) is necessary to get in for free, make sure you bring it, along with a California ID. 4. Only general admission is provided free of charge. Special exhibits or attractions are not included in this program and may have an extra fee.

Is the LA Zoo free with EBT card?

To receive discounted admission, present your valid reciprocal zoo or aquarium membership card at our Guest Services window. Do you offer EBT discounts? No, at this time, the Los Angeles Zoo is not offering discounts for EBT cardholders.

Does the Aquarium give student discounts?

Free reservations are required. Many universities in Southern California offer Aquarium tickets at a discount for their students. If you are a college student, check with your Student Union or ASI office. Discounted tickets may be purchased in advance at any MWR/ITT office on base.

How long does it take to walk through the Aquarium?

Plan on an hour and a half to 2 hours. A couple of adults can wander through in an hour or so but if you have kids, it will take longer.

Is outside food allowed in Georgia Aquarium?

Food & Drink policy:

No outside food or beverages are permitted in the aquarium with the exception of small snacks for children or visitors with food allergies. The aquarium has several water bottle filling stations, we encourage you to bring a refillable water bottle for your visit.

Are strollers allowed at Georgia Aquarium?

Georgia Aquarium recommends smaller strollers to navigate crowded areas more easily. Strollers are not permitted in the 4D Theater or the Dolphin theater. Complimentary stroller parking is available at the Information Desk/Coat Check, and additional stroller corrals are available outside the galleries.

How big is Aquarium of the Pacific?

Founded in June 1998, the Aquarium of the Pacific is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Located on a six-acre site on Rainbow Harbor in Long Beach, California, the Aquarium encompasses 360,000 square feet. The Aquarium employs close to 1,200 volunteers and over 350 employees.

Is Pacific Park free?

Pacific Park is LA’s only admission-free amusement park. There are no fees to enter the Park. Visitors who wish to ride our rides or play our games pay only for the rides and games they choose.

Does the Santa Monica pier cost money?

Access to the pier is free. Tickets for the aquarium cost $5 for adults and children over 13, and are free for children aged 12 and under. Rides at Pacific Park are priced individually between $5 and $10, wristbands for unlimited rides cost $32.95 for those over 8 years old and $17.95 for children aged 7 and under.
