Can you connect washing machine hoses?
To attach the water hose to the washing machine, simply tighten the connector to the water inlet valve by hand in a clockwise direction. The straight connector should be connected to the cold water tap, again you only need to tighten by hand. Once connected turn on the water and check for leaks.
Can you use old hoses on new washing machine?
They certainly can be reused. If you are confident enough that they are in good shape then feel free to use old hoses (you should replace the washers at the end connections).
