Does Sensi work with HomeKit?
Both the Sensi Touch Smart Thermostat and the Sensi Smart Thermostat are compatible with Apple HomeKit. The Sensi Wi-Fi Programmable Thermostat is not compatible with HomeKit. To get started you will need iOS 10 or later installed on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch.
Why does my Sensi thermostat go offline?
This status message means that the thermostat is unable to communicate to the Sensi servers. This can result from a change to your Wi-Fi network password or network name, a home network problem, poor Wi-Fi signal strength, a router problem/compatibility issue or a Sensi service disruption.
Why is my Sensi thermostat not working?
If you installed a Sensi Touch Smart Thermostat, but the touchscreen is still blank after completing all the steps in the Sensi app, then most likely the thermostat is not receiving enough power from your system to turn on. Sensi Touch requires a “C” wire to provide 20-30VAC to power the thermostat.

When you travel 3 miles away from your home the Sensi app will signal for your thermostat to change set points and save energy. Your thermostat will lower the temperature 3 degrees when you are in heat mode or raise 3 degrees in cool mode.
Why is my Sensi thermostat using up batteries?
The simplest answer is also the most likely: The thermostat is old or just faulty. The temperature settings you program into a digital wall thermostat don’t impact battery usage (e.g., turning down the air conditioning in the summer won’t save the battery life of your thermostat; you’ll just save on your energy bills).
