Additionally, Zelle® will be added to digital banking at the end of this year. This feature will allow you to send or receive money from people using your PSECU account.

How long does it take Psecu to approve a car loan?

You will often receive a preapproval decision minutes after submitting your online application, but usually on the same business day. If you’ve been approved, you can pick a car. PSECU will mail you an AutoDraft — valid for 120 days — that you can use to pay for the car.

Can you refinance a car loan immediately?

You do not need to wait any minimum amount of time before refinancing your car loan. You just have to meet all the requirements for the new loan to refinance. Refinancing is possible immediately after buying—even before you make your first monthly payment.

If you’re on the receiving end of a transfer from another PSECU member, you can claim the funds using online banking or the PSECU mobile app. Click on Claim Funds. Here, you’ll need to enter the transfer code sent by PSECU and the secret phrase provided by the sender.

Is PSECU FDIC insured?

All PSECU shares, including Money Market, and certificates are federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) up to $250,000, the maximum allowed by law.
