The Ferrule Blaster® is a state of the art tool designed to remove stubborn compression ferrules from 1/2″ copper pipes when replacing compression angle, or straight stop valves used to service sinks, toilets, etc.

How do you remove a ferrule from a nut?

Cut the column as short as conveniently possible around the column ferrule holding nut. Place the nut in a GC oven at 310ºC for a one-few minutes, cool down the GC oven to 40ºC and take the nut. The ferrule should now be lose and easy to remove.

How does an olive puller work?

Slowly rotate the spindle using the T-bar handle. This will force the spindle down into the body and against the pusher. As the spindle pushes against the pusher it forces the body to draw up and pull the olive from the pipe. This action is similar to how a corkscrew functions.

Can you reuse a compression ferrule?

Ferrule can never be reused once they have been compressed. This connector is directly placed over the pipe and the nut is tightened compressing the ferrule between the pipe and the body of the fitting. Flare less-tube connectors can not be reused because of the characteristic nature of the process.

How do I remove a compression ring?

There are two ways to remove a damaged compression ring and nut. The first and best way is to use a compression ring puller. This tool can be purchased at a hardware or plumbing supply store. The second way to remove the compression ring and nut is to use a hand-held power grinder.

How do you remove a compression fitting?

Disconnect the compression nut that fits around the water supply pipe by gripping the valve with one pair of channel-lock pliers and turning the compression nut with another pair of pliers. Slide the valve body off the end of the water pipe, then slide the brass compression ring and compression nut off the pipe.

How do you remove seeds from olives?

To pit olives, start by putting the olives on a flat surface. Then, hold the blade of a knife flat on top of one of the olives. Next, gently press down on the blade of the knife until the pit pops out. If the pit doesn’t pop out all the way, pull it the rest of the way out with your fingers.
