oGCD = “Off Global Cooldown” – An ability which has its own cooldown timer and can generally be used in-between global cooldown (GCD) abilities, spells or weapon skills.

What is GCD ff14?

The Global Cool Down (or GCD) is the amount of time it takes to use weaponskills or spells. At default, GCD is 2.5 seconds. This can be reduced with equipment. Skill Speed reduces the global cool down on weaponskills (Heavy Swing, Shield Lob, etc.) while Spell Speed reduces the global cool down on spells.

On pc just hover your mouse over any gcd skill. This shows how much sks you need for the gcd you want(Assumes Shifu buff).

What is off GCD?

In the next update to the Shadowlands Beta and PTR, we’ve taken a number of spells categorized as “burst cooldowns” off the global cooldown (GCD). By “burst cooldowns,” we mean spells like Avenging Wrath or Arcane Power whose primary purpose is to increase your damage or healing output every two to three minutes.

oGCD stands for off-Global Cooldown – as the name implies, it refers to actions that do not share a Global Cooldown. These abilities can generally be used at any time without affecting other abilities, and are almost always “instant”.
