Gorons are a biological mystery. There are no known females in the species, it is entirely unclear what the non-rock part of their body is made of and in a an almost cannibal-esque way they seem to only eat rocks. Here's where it gets more peculiar however - the only other food-related item we see them consume is milk.

What do Gorons eat?

The diet of Gorons consist almost strictly of rocks mined from nearby quarries. Gorons tend to be somewhat selective about the quality of the rocks. It has been shown in other titles that Gorons also eat other kinds of foods.

What are Gorons made of?

Gorons are rock-like creatures that made their first appearance in Ocarina of Time. They are brown/gold mountain-dwelling creatures that are made out of rock and feed on rock.
