Is Mba Overhyped?
Most recruiters agree that an MBA can only help you land your first job after graduation. Don't expect any more career benefits from your degree. From there on, the only things that can help you reach the top is your instinct, hard work and intelligence. Here are a few reasons why we believe MBAs are highly overrated.
Is an MBA actually worth it?
An MBA is only worth the expense, time, and effort when the graduate plans to work in a business-related field, in management, or as a company founder. An MBA may not be useful for those working in other industries unless they are in management or leadership roles. Not all MBA degrees are created equal.
Is an MBA a waste of money?
A traditional MBA from a top tier university costs $200k. The ridiculous sticker price makes an MBA a waste of money. Employers used to fit the bill, but the trend is changing. Employee loyalty is down in the post-COVID era so it makes less sense for companies to pay six-figures for their staff's education.
