If you already work in a VMware environment, Workstation/Fusion is clearly the better option, as it has better compatibility with VMware servers and data management tools. Overall, it's probably a superior option for business use. Virtual machines created by VMware are faster than those created by VirtualBox.

Is VMware or VirtualBox faster?

VMware's virtual machines run faster than their VirtualBox counterparts. This difference may not be as noticeable on a smaller scale, but it would impact performance in enterprise projects. The decision comes down to what you want from your virtual machines.

Which is good VirtualBox or VMware?

Honestly, many users are split between these two products, and a large portion of it comes down to preference. VMWare Player is seen as having a better drag-and-drop between host and VM, yet VirtualBox offers you an unlimited number of snapshots (something that only comes in VMWare Workstation Pro).
