If there is one animal that never forgives or forgets, it is the camel. They have good memories and can hold grudges against people who harm them.

True, they are fast, but only compared to other arachnids. Their top speed is estimated at 10 miles per hour. Camel spiders are not deadly to humans (though their bite is painful), but they are vicious predators that can visit death upon insects, rodents, lizards, and small birds.

Dogs don't hold grudges. They only appear to if the humans around them react negatively, because then we're telling our dogs to do the same. So the next time you have to discipline or correct your dog, don't worry. She won't resent you for it.
Dogs do not have a concept of "revenge". Dogs live in the moment. They don't really have a concept of time. They are not capable of analyzing a situation and deciding that you are deliberating leaving them and they need to get revenge because you are late and need to be punished.
