What is Driver Talent?

Driver Talent is a unwanted program, additionally shortened as a PUP or PUA. Its creators assert that the utility checks computer for new drivers, finds solutions to Enhance System Performance, discloses User Software Related problems, and optimizes Startup/Uninstall and User Items. As soon as the scanning by Driver Talent is completed, a detailed report is given about the variety of revealed problems. However, the tool claims that the licensed version must be acquired to get the problems resolved. I feel that many errors identified by this tool are created and do not stand for any problems.

Once more, I really doubt that the reports by Driver Talent are trustworthy. I think that the program instead provides some faulty details. For example, the screenshot above verifies that Driver Talent determines some registry entries as medium seriousness. However, this access is part of important System Items. They will certainly not trigger any stability concerns in any way.

The problem with lots of so-called computer driver updater is that there is no kind of verification that fixing the reported problems with their help will basically enhance the system functionality. Along with that, Microsoft has actually lately shown that certain driver updaters instead cause a lot of “serious problems” while changing the registry, as a result, it was advised that the people do not use these pseudo optimization apps¹.

Lastly, many reliable antivirus scanners detect this tool as a PUP. This is the valid reason you do not trust the Driver Talent app, no matter how positively it might be described on its web page.
