Is Amethyst Stone Worth Anything?
Is Amethyst Stone Worth Anything?

Amethyst Value. Value for amethysts depends almost entirely on color. Since amethyst is readily available in large sizes, its value per carat climbs gradually, not exponentially. Since this stone is plentiful, there is little reason to pay top dollar for pieces with visible inclusions or inferior cutting.
.
Keeping this in view, how much is an amethyst stone worth?
Typically with amethyst, the labor that goes into faceting the stone is going to represent the bulk of the price of the cut gemstone. For some price context, faceted amethyst gemstones from India may sell for as little as $2 per carat where some of the material with better color from brazil will sell for $5-10/caret.
Also, what bad effects does amethyst stone have? Like I said above, sometimes amethyst can over-ground you. Don't be alarmed, it is nothing scary unless you rectify it. When your crown chakra keeps grounding you, it becomes difficult to get up from the ritual posture or think about anything else.
To charge crystals for healing, place them in a spot where they will receive direct sunlight or moonlight for 24 hours to fill them with positive energy. You can also bury your crystals in the soil to charge them with energy from the earth.
For one, amethyst is plentiful compared to other gemstone types, which is why it is so inexpensive comparatively. That said, high quality amethyst is NOT cheap. Also, undisclosed synthetic amethyst have flooded the market, which makes it seem like all amethyst are very cheap.
