Regarding this, what does it mean to be Super Saiyan?

???? ??? ? ?? SūpāSaiya-jin) is an advanced transformation assumed by members andhybrids of the Saiyan race with sufficient amounts ofS-Cells in the Dragon Ball franchise, though there have also beenoccurrences of other races or individuals taking on their ownversions of the form.

Subsequently, question is, is Saiyan a real word? Most people say Saiyan for short, but if youlisten carefully to the Japanese version of DB, you'll see them saySaiyajin and not Saiyan. As for Saiyajin it's actually twowords. “Jin” means person or people while“Saiya” means absolutely nothing. “Saiya”is simply the name of the race.

In this way, what is the Saiyan race?

The Saiyans were a group of barbaric aliens whoarrived to the Planet Vegeta (once known as the Planet Plant) verylong ago. Their home planet, Sadala, had been destroyed due toconflict among Saiyans. The indigenous lifeforms to thisplanet were the Tuffles, a very technologically advancedrace.

Where does the word Saiyan come from?

?) which means "wildman", and an anagram of yasai (??)which means "vegetable". The suffix -jin means "person"."Saiyan" is the English transliteration of the romanletter term Saiya-jin.
