Simply use a bit of warm water, a non-abrasive cleaner (always check the label and do a test patch first), and a paper towel or soft cloth to wipe down the surface. Though quartz is stain resistant, it’s a good idea to wipe up any spills immediately – highly acidic materials can discolour the stone.
Do quartz countertops require maintenance?
This is easy – there isn’t any scheduled maintenance needed for quartz countertops. Unlike natural stone, quartz does not need sealing or waxing to protect it from stains and mildew, even on a white quartz countertop. Quartz is an extremely durable material, and the list of “don’ts” is very short.
Do you have to seal quartz countertops every year?
It is generally not necessary to seal quartz countertops. Caesarstone quartz countertops are made of a mixture of natural minerals, and the manufacturing process creates a permanent seal on their surfaces. As a result, quartz surfaces are solid, long-lasting, and attractive countertops.
