Arrest max is a selective grass herbicide that will control most grasses, without harming clover, alfalfa, chicory or any Whitetail Institute perennial food plot.
What herbicide will not kill chicory?
Most broadleaf weeds can be controlled by mowing. For broadleaf weeds only, 24DB (Butyrac) can work on clover but will kill the chicory. Imazamox can be used, as you say, to kill both broadleaf and grass without killing the chicory.
Will Clethodim kill chicory?
Clethodim is an excellent choice for grass control in plots containing clover, chicory, alfalfa, sunflowers, and peas. This herbicide is much slower working than Glyphosate, so don’t become discouraged as it may take several weeks to see results. Rate: 12-16 oz per acre.
