The attacks may be of vertigo are often associated with nausea and vomiting. Affected individuals may have a recurrent feeling of fullness or pressure in the affected ear, and hearing tends to fluctuate. Over the years, hearing may progressively worsen.
Can benign positional vertigo affect hearing?
BPPV does not cause hearing loss. However, if your BPPV was caused by trauma, the trauma may have also caused hearing loss that needs to be evaluated and treated accordingly.
