Empty several gallons of Kool Deck from the mixer into a 5-gallon bucket. Dip the dash brush all the way to the tops of the bristles. Shake the brush loaded with Kool Deck onto the pool’s deck. Continue splashing the product in all directions until you coat the entire pool deck.

Can you put Kool deck over concrete?

Kool Deck can be applied to BOTH new and existing concrete! To apply any overlay on existing concrete, there is some surface preparation (and when isn’t there surface preparation). It’s relatively easy to get a great bond with Kool Deck to the concrete when done properly.
