What movement pattern is Agbadza?
Agbadza is a war dance of the Ewe people of Ghana. It belongs to the Bekor movement form. The Ewe people in Benin and Togo also use this dance.
How Adowa dance came about?
Oral history has it that, the dance originated in the early days of warfare when once the Great Queen of the Ashantis (Abrewa Tutuwaa) was sick and the only way to get her healed was through getting a life antelope from the wild to pacify the gods and make her well again as revealed by the chief priest.
