This initiates a series of reactions that produces a gaseous mixture composed primarily of carbon monoxide and hydrogen.

Why do we need a gasifier?

Currently Industrial-scale gasification is primarily used to produce electricity from fossil fuels such as coal, where the syngas is burned in a gas turbine.
