What Was Before Lego

What Was Before Lego

A year ago, it was “Bild-O-Brik” that was made in 1934. This is made by American Rubber Specialties Company. It is like this when you sort in the oldest order. On top of the accumulation of the past, blocks like the current Lego are made.

Starting in 1936 an ink stamp “LEGO Fabriken Billund” was used on the wooden toys. This logo was first introduced in 1939 or 1940. It was used extensively on wooden toys, typically in the form of an applied decal, for the next 10 years. This logo was introduced with the first plastic toys.

What is the oldest LEGO set?

We’re not here to debate what the first ever LEGO set was, so we’ll give you the LEGO set that most LEGO fans agree with, and that’s set number 234, or, as it’s better known: the LEGO System Garage with Automatic Door. They re-released this set with the modern brick design in 1957 and it became a resounding success!
