Induction cookware must be made of a magnetic-based material, such as cast iron or magnetic stainless steel. Fully clad cookware brands, such as All-Clad, Cristel, Demeyere, Hammer Stahl, Hestan Nanobond, Le Creuset and Zwilling work on induction cooktops because they're magnetic.
Does stainless clad cookware work on induction range?
Clad stainless steel cookware is a good choice with induction because it's fast heating, responsive, durable, and won't scratch the glass cooktop. Cast iron, carbon steel, and disc clad aluminum cookware also work, but we recommend good quality clad stainless as the best cookware for induction.
How do I know if my pans are induction compatible?
You can tell whether the pots and pans you're currently using are magnetic simply by holding a magnet to the bottom of a pan to see if it sticks. You can also check the underside of your cookware for the induction logo. This is an example of induction symbol.
