After Professor Vardemus is revealed to be a disguise used by Ryan Clarke, Alaric is reinstated in his role as Headmaster in This Christmas Was Surprisingly Violent.

Who becomes headmaster after Alaric?

If any of you were a fan of Buffy, the vampire slayer, you're in for a treat. Alexis Denisof made an entry as Professor Vardemus in 'Legacies' Season 2. He is the new headmaster of the school. Smartly dressed and shrewd in his demeanour, he has replaced Alaric Saltzman for the job.

Does Alaric become good again?

In season 3, his human self was transformed into an original vampire upon his death, though this darker version of Alaric met his end too. Bonnie resurrected the nicer, more lovable, human Alaric in season 5 as the Other Side was destroyed.
