Do you have to pay to get into Calico Basin?

The Red Rock National Conservation Area is most well-known for its scenic drive, but the lesser-known area of Calico Basin has picnic tables, a board walk, hiking trails and requires no entry fee.

Is Calico Basin Trail free?

Good restrooms, picnic benches and lots o f options for various hikes... for FREE. we wanted a challenge so we did Calico Basin. Once the scramble up began it became a 'make your own way' style summit. Beautiful and fun.
