What Does Fully Integrated Mean?

Fully integrated
Unlike a semi-integrated dishwasher, the fully-integrated dishwasher control panel is located inside the top of the door. When you shut the door, you won't see the controls at all, and the dishwasher is fully concealed within your bench.

What does fully integrated appliance mean?

A fully integrated dishwasher has a full-sized kitchen cabinet door attached to the front of the appliance, completely hiding the machine. The control panel is accessed at the top of the dishwasher once opened, forming the top edge of the door.

What is the difference between fully integrated and semi-integrated?

Fully integrated dishwashers will mostly be the quietest dishwashers to buy. As they are completely concealed by cabinetry, they are also the most insulated from noise. Semi-integrated models are still slightly exposed and thus will be louder than fully integrated dishwashers.
