Crocus can flower any time from late winter to early spring. They appear on the scene very quickly. One day there will be no sign of growth and the next day you may discover them in bloom! Crocus flowers do not have stems.
What month do crocuses flower?
Crocuses bring a burst of colour to the garden in spring and autumn. Carpets of the small purple, yellow and white flowering corms make a joyful display from late winter onwards.
How long do crocuses bloom for?
Flowers will appear the first fall after planting (generally in September or October) and last for about 3 weeks. The grass-like leaves may emerge soon after the flowers or wait until the following spring.
