Fees for permits are determined by the nature of the load and vary from state to state. Fees range from as little as $15.00 to more than $70 for the same basic load, depending on the state. There may also be a fee of approximately $15.00 to process the application.
How long does it take to get oversize permit?
We can usually get oversized and overweight permits in 3 to 4 hours, though that can depend on conditions in the state you need a permit for.
How much does an overweight permit cost in California?
Currently the minimum cost for a permit is $10.00 ($30.00 for a Superload (see Superload question below)). For overweight loads there is a weight fee of $5.00 for every 8,000 pounds (or portion thereof) for weight over the legal weight limit of the vehicle.
