Gerberas will not bloom continuously. They bloom, then take about a two week break to refuel then bloom again. Some people say it is best to plant them by themselves. Don't mix them with other plants.
What to do with gerbera after flowering?
Rejuvenate them by lifting the clump in early to mid-spring, and carefully breaking it up into several pieces, each with plenty of roots and leaves. Replant the gerbera divisions into soil that has been refreshed with compost and fertilizer.
Do gerbera flowers come back?
Gerber daisies come back every year in tropical climates. They are considered perennials in USDA growing zones 9 to 11. They will also grow in zones 6 to 8, but will die at the first frost -- so in those areas, they are considered annuals.
