Why Asurion Ask for Affidavit?

Why Asurion Ask for Affidavit?

An affidavit is a form that allows you to provide additional information required to process your claim. Affidavits are sometimes used to prevent possible fraudulent activity on your account and ensure that only authorized users on the account are able to file a claim.

Why does Asurion deny claims?

Conveniently, Asurion is denying the claim because an AT&T SIM wasn't in the phone during the time of theft. They are claiming they insure the phone number and not the device. An absolute pile of bullsh&t that is. The phone number costs nobody anything.

What happens if you don't return phone to Asurion?

In one case, it got "lost" in the mail, managed to repair itself and then reissue itself to a new customer by Asurion. Meanwhile, Asurion continued to claim the phone was never returned. So whats my story? Well on May 24th, 2012, my wife dropped her phone and damaged the screen.
