Is Aternos Safe 2021?

I've used it before, it's safe, but the server connection is a bit laggy, it's alright if you just want to play Minecraft with some friends. The server hosting itself is great among free hostings but in general its okay. Its simple and free and safe however, it's very laggy so in my opinion its okay.
