Skin-against-skin chafing
Long-term friction may eventually cause the skin to break and become infected, resulting in redness and sometimes pimples.
How do you treat chafing pimples?
Gently clean the chafed area with water and dry it thoroughly. After cleaning the area, apply a substance like petroleum jelly. If the area is very painful, swollen, bleeding, or crusted, your health care provider may recommend a medicated ointment.
Why do I get pimples in between my thighs?
Often bacteria get trapped in a hair follicle or oil gland due to friction or trauma to the skin. Inner thighs are a common site for boils because your thighs can rub against each other and get sweaty, especially in hot and humid weather. This encourages bacteria to grow within the follicles.
